School Curriculum
Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence integrates the theory
and practice of Maharishi's Vedic Science into the Central Board
of Secondary Education school curriculum to achieve outstanding
results. The following subjects are part of the school curriculum:
- Maharishi's Vedic Science -- the Science of Consciousness
- Language Arts -- Sanskrit, Hindi, Indian Regional and International
Languages
- Science
- Mathematics
- Computer Science
- Social Science
- Fine Arts -- Music, Dance, Drama, and Painting
- Physical Education
- Extra Curricular Activities, including Hobby Club
Admission
Initially admissions are
open for classes Nursery, KG, I to XI on the basis of written test
and interview. The school will be raised to senior secondary level
(10+2) in a phased manner. Minimum age for admission to Nursery
is 3 years on 1st April in the year of admission.
School Transport
Comfortable and efficient bus service is provided from all corners
of the city. All buses are equipped with audio learning system
to make best use of students' travel time to and from school.
House System
With the purpose of encouraging healthy competition, house system
is introduced and students are divided into a number of sub-junior,
junior, and senior houses according to their ages. Each house
is looked after by a house incharge assisted by tutors and prefects
for ensuring the academic, physical, and all-round growth of each
student under their care.
Session
The session of Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence is
from April to March.
