Reconstruction of the Whole World
Heaven on Earth has been the most laudable aspiration
of the wise throughout the ages. For life to be really heavenly for every person in the nation,
the global environment must be transformed. Now is the time, in this scientific age, to reconstruct
the world and free mankind from problems and suffering that have been continuing for a long time.
Under Maharishi's guidance, an undertaking has begun
to reconstruct the world and create a new quality of life, starting with the 1,000 largest cities
in the world. Each existing city will have new ideal satellite cities around it, designed to satisfy
the Vedic Science of Construction, characterised by healthy buildings, healthy gardens, and a healthy
environment, for the healthy relationship of every aspect of individual life with everything in
Nature.
Any modern, congested city
can easily be reconstructed
using the ancient principles of Vedic architecture and
planning in harmony with Natural Law

Controlling the expansion of the city by establishing a masterplan with
parellel roads in east/West, North/South directions. |

them with beautiful gardens, parks, and fountains. |

Two of the key organisations in this endeavour are:
Maharishi Vedic Construction
and Real Estate Development Corporation
and
Maharishi Global Development Fund.
The main purpose of these organisations is to create
ideal housing (ideal homes in ideal villages, towns, and cities) in India and throughout the world,
so that ideal education, ideal health care, ideal administration, etc., can be housed in proper
buildings (built according to Natural Law), so that every activity in the building is in full
accord with the evolutionary nature of Natural Law, and each building contributes its maximum
to support and fulfil every activity of those who live and work in it.
Schools, colleges, and universities, built according
to Natural Law, will offer that evolutionary influence which is conducive to ideal education for
mistake-free life in enlightenment -- the ability to know anything, do anything spontaneously right,
and achieve anything through the support of Natural Law.
Hospitals, health centres, and medical colleges, built
according to Natural Law, will offer that evolutionary influence which will be conducive to prevention-oriented
health care, free from harmful side effects.
Administrative buildings for every level of administration -- city,
state, and nation -- built according to Natural Law, will provide that evolutionary quality of
environment in which every decision of the government will be in favour of evolution in life.
Industrial training and production buildings, built
according to Natural Law, will provide that evolutionary quality of environment which will disallow
stress to accumulate, and will enhance creativity and productivity.
People need homes built in accord with Natural Law
to gain the support of Natural Law and promote harmonious family life;
Parents need schools, colleges, and universities built
in accord with Natural Law to bring the support of Natural Law to their children;
Patients need hospitals built in accord with Natural
Law to gain the support of Natural Law for fast and complete recovery;
Businessmen need office buildings and factories built
in accord with Natural Law to gain the support of Natural Law for unrestricted, fulfilling success
(both for employers and employees);
Mayors need garden cities and communities built in
accord with Natural Law (free from crime, congestion, pollution, and stress) to bring the support
of Natural Law to the whole population;
Administrators need administrative buildings built
in accord with Natural Law to bring the support of Natural Law to government, for conflict-free
politics and problem-free administration;
Heads of State, Governors, and national leaders need
to redesign and rebuild the whole country in accord with Natural Law, to bring the support of
Natural Law -- health, wealth, and happiness -- to the whole nation, generation after generation.
