The discovery of the Constitution of the Universe in Rk Veda
and the Vedic Literature, and its practical applications, offer
to bring fulfilment to the well-meaning principles expressed
in the Constitution of India and in the constitutions of all
nations.
The universe is governed by Natural Law -- the eternal, self-generated,
self-perpetuated Cosmic Intelligence, omnipresent intelligence,
fully awake intelligence at the transcendental basis of every
grain of creation -- the Cosmic Constitution, the Constitution
of the Universe. When Transcendental Meditation is practised
by the people, national consciousness, collective consciousness,
becomes aligned with Natural Law -- the Constitution of the Universe
-- and all aspects of society become evolutionary, progressive,
and harmonious. By taking recourse to the Constitution of the
Universe -- the total intelligence of Natural Law -- through
the collective practice of Transcendental Meditation, governments
can fulfil the lofty principles set forth in their constitutions
and display the same efficiency and effectiveness with which
Natural Law governs the universe.
The knowledge of how to align the national constitution (national
law) with the Constitution of the Universe (Natural Law) is available
now in Maharishi's Vedic Science, which provides not only detailed
intellectual understanding of the Constitution of the Universe,
but also provides practical, scientifically validated technologies
for practically applying this most fundamental and powerful level
of Law -- Natural Law -- for enriching national law.
Complete Knowledge of Natural Law
In recent decades modern science has revealed progressively
deeper layers of order in Nature, from the atomic to the nuclear
and sub-nuclear levels of Nature's functioning. This progressive
exploration has culminated in the recent discovery of the Unified
Field of Laws of Nature -- the ultimate source of order in the
universe.
The self-referral dynamism of the Unified Field has been identified
as the field of consciousness -- self-referral Transcendental
Consciousness -- which is easily accessed through my Transcendental
Meditation.

The ancient and timeless Vedic Wisdom describes
this single universal source of all orderliness in Nature as
the Samhita (Unified Field) of Rishi (the observer),
Devata (the process of observation), and Chhandas
(the observed) -- the three-in-one structure of pure knowledge
-- the unified state of knower, knowing, and known.
This is the fundamental level of Nature's Government
-- the total intelligence of Natural Law, which governs the universe
with perfect orderliness and absolute efficiency, upholding progress,
growth, and evolution of everyone and everything. Most importantly,
Maharishi's Vedic Science has identified the unified field of
consciousness and has provided technologies of consciousness
to enliven this field of perfect orderliness in one's own self-referral
consciousness -- Samhita.

Thus we see that both understandings, modern and ancient,
locate the unified source of Nature's perfect order in a single,
self-interacting field of intelligence at the foundation of all
the Laws of Nature. This field sequentially creates, from within
itself, all the diverse Laws of Nature governing life at every
level of the manifest universe.
It is a highly significant feature of our scientific age that
complete knowledge of Natural Law, provided by Maharishi's Vedic
Science, is now open to scientific confirmation through the Unified
Quantum Field Theories of modern Physics.
The Constitution of the Universe
from the Perspective of Modern Science
From the view provided by Quantum Physics, the self-interaction
of the Unified Field constitutes the most basic level of Nature's
dynamics, and is governed by its own set of fundamental laws.
Just as the constitution of a nation represents the most fundamental
level of national law and is the basis of all the laws governing
the nation, the laws governing the self-interacting dynamics
of the Unified Field represent the most fundamental level of
Natural Law, the basis of all known Laws of Nature. These laws
can therefore be called the Constitution of the Universe -- the
eternal, non-changing basis of Natural Law and the ultimate source
of the order and harmony displayed throughout creation.
The Constitution of the Universe, the eternal non-changing
basis of Natural Law, is expressed in the mathematical language
of Physics by the Lagrangian of Superstirng Threory. This Lagrangian
represents the detailed structure and self-interacting dynamics
of the Unified Field in its most compact form, and contains in
seed form the different specific Lagrangians which govern the
dynamics at more expressed levels of Nature. Therefore this Lagrangian
of the Unified Field is the mathematical formula expressing the
Constitution of the Universe from the perspective of modern Quantum
Physics.
The Constitution of the Universe
from the Perspective of Maharishi's Vedic Science
In Maharishi's Vedic Science, these same fundamental laws
-- the Constitution of the Universe -- are found in Rk Veda,
the eternal, self-referral dynamics of consciousness knowing
itself, and in the structuring dynamics of Rk Veda available
in the Vedic Literature. The eternal dynamism of Natural Law
is embodied in the very structure of the sounds of Rk Veda, which
are ceaselessly giving rise to and administering the entire creation,
and are sequentially expressed in the infinite diversity of the
whole material universe.
This perfectly orderly, eternal structure of knowledge has
been preserved over thousands of years in the Vedic Tradition
of India. The complete theoretical and practical knowledge of
the Veda and its profound significance for life has been revived
and understood in a scientific framework by Maharishi's Vedic
Science and Technology, which brings to light that the Constitution
of the Universe -- Rk Veda and the Vedic Literature -- is present
within the Self (Atma) of everyone.
Precise Correspondence
There is a precise correspondence between the descriptions
of the detailed structure of Natural Law, as described by the
Lagrangian of the Unified Field, and the structure of Natural
Law as found in Rk Veda Samhita.
The correspondence between these two descriptions of the Unified
Field -- from modern science on the level of mathematical symbols,
and from Vedic Science on the level of sound -- gives great confidence
that the knowledge of the most fundamental level of Natural Law,
the Constitution of the Universe, is now fully available to mankind.
