Read these instructions 3 to 4 times before making these changes in your receiver!

2. Press the "down arrow" button on the receiver to select the "Transponders" option in the "Main Menu". It will be highlighted in blue as in Figure 3 below.

3.You will see on the screen the "+ADD" (Modify Transponder) option is selected (fig 3). Press the button "OK" button on the receiver.

4. A menu "Enter the password" will then be automatically be displayed on your screen (fig 4).

Now, using the steps below carefully enter the following six digit password: 700117. To do this please follow carefully the steps 4.1 to 4.3 listed below:

4.1 Move the cursor using the "down" and "right arrow" button on the receiver to select the first digit "7"and then press the button "OK" on your receiver.

4.2 After doing this use the "right", "left", "up" and "down arrows" on the receiver to select the remaining digits. You must press the button "OK" on the receiver after selecting each digit.

4.3 When you finish entering the last digit of the password, select the word "O.K" on the bottom left of this menu "Enter the password" (Fig 5). Then press the button "OK" on your receiver to validate your password.

5. A menu called "Satellite Scan" will then automatically appear on the screen (fig 6).
You will see the "Satellite Maharishi" option is highlighted in pink by default. Press the button "OK" on your receiver.

6. A menu called "Manual Scan Satellite" will then automatically appear on the screen (fig 7). You will see the "Maharishi TP1" option is selected inpink by default.

Use the "down arrow" button on your receiver to select "Trans. Freq [Mhz]" (fig 8). It will be highlighted in pink.
Then press the "right arrow" button on your receiver.

A menu called "enter data" will be then be automatically displayed on the screen (fig 9). Enter the following frequency numbers: 12699, digit by digit, the same way you entered your password (refer to section 4.1 to 4.3 if needed).

When you finish entering the last digit, select the word "O.K" on the screen in the Menu "Enter Data" (fig 9) and then press the button "OK" on your receiver to validate the new frequency setting.

A menu called "enter data" will then be automatically displayed on the screen.
Enter the following Symbol Rate numbers: 5860, digit by digit, the same way you entered your password (refer to section 4.1 to 4.3 if needed).

When you finish entering the last digit, select the word "O.K" on the screen in the Menu "Enter Data" and press the button "OK" on your receiver to validate your Symbol rate.

7. Now, you should double check all figures to make sure they are correct:

Frequency should be 12699.
Symbol rate should be 5860 (see fig 10).

Once you are sure that the values are correct, press the "OK" button on your receiver to validate all the previous changes.

8. A window will then appear on the screen with a question :
"Are sure to edit Transponder" (fig 11) . You will see the option "Yes" is selected by default.

Press the button "OK" on your receiver.

9. The receiver will then automatically show the menu "Manual Scan : Transponder 1" (fig 12) and it start to collect all the information about the new service parameters. You will not need to do anything during this step.

After few seconds, the TV screen should display the Maharishi Channel program on "channel 1" with the "Main Menu" displayed on the top of the picture (fig 13).

10. Then press the "Menu/Exit" button on your receiver to exit the Menu display.

Congratulations on successfully re-programming your receiver to continue to enjoy the Maharishi Channel.

11. If you cannot see any picture from your Maharishi Receiver, please contact the Maharishi Center for assistance or call the following number in Maharishi Nagar, Tel : 91 (0)120 456 2267 and you will be guided step by step.

Please note that passwords for re-setting receivers can only be used one time.
